The levels in the Great Lakes and ST.Lawrence are expected to stop. In 1964 a 35 million loss pf water happened because the Great Lakes shipping and hydropower, and one third along the lakes had water problems. As the sea levels rise deeper drafts well appear in harbours and could cause great damage. There is a decrease in both groundwater and surface water. Decreasing amounts of water can become a larger issue for harbours and the shipments that need to be made. Chances of greater storm activity has led to need of more aid and support.
